N4G Forza Motorsport's official Twitter account just revealed the official box art for Forza 5--thereby showing us the general design of Xbox One game boxes. Gaze upon the shelf-dwelling future below.

The Xbox One mark is centered in a monochromatic lime green bar, with a little baby bar along the bottom. That's it for console branding. The Forza design would be almost as minimalist without those logos.
Forza 5 will be an Xbox One launch title when the system releases sometime this year. Series developers Turn 10 Studios are back behind the wheel after the Playground-Games-led Forza Horizon, but we'll have to wait until E3 to find out more.

There's still plenty of time for them to slap loads of quotes and review scores on there... Reply Report

the fact that you have to install the game makes the whole boxing kind of obsolete and unsustainable... the good thing: if u never touch it then it always looks as good as new...kinda justifies the whole renting/borrowing issue... wait actually it does not. Reply Report

We're gonna lose all appreciation for the box once we get the obnoxious box art games Reply Report

Okay, yes, regardless of what I think about the system and MS at the moment, this looks nice. Definitely a step up from normal packaging if that's really legit. Reply Report

Agreed, it basically looks like a green Blu-Ray case and that's fine. Reply Report

well, the games are on Bluray-discs, so it doesn't just LOOK like green bluray cases, it basically IS just that. which I agree is fine. I actually LIKE the "minimalistic" sleek basic design of the Xbox One and the cases, I think people overreact about it a lot...The WHOLE IDEA is that it's supposed to fit in to ANY home, not only sci-fi-designed spaceship-looking gamer dungeons.. I wish people could understand that.. :) Reply Report

"sci-fi-designed spaceship-looking gamer dungeons"do those even exist?? Reply Report

Just check out the limited edition green packaging for The Incredible Hulk for an example of a green blu-ray case. Should be pretty sharp.http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn2/Blu-news/Review%20Images/DSCN0573.jpg Reply Report

well.. yeah.for example, I have seen photos of some guy who rebuilt his livingroom into a full-scale replica of the Bridge from Enterprise, original series version... with his huge TV or projector instead of the main viewscreen, and another who, in lack of car, converted his entire garage into a movie theater / bigscreen gameroom for himself, his family, and friends.. Just to mention two. Reply Report

yeah, and then there's ME, who has a double-setup...I myself have a projector, alienware-laptop, X360 and PS3 in the bedroom, playing and interetting from BED, while my secondary setup in the living room is a highdef TV and another X360.Both xboxes have high quality headsets, and Mine also has a Razer controller instead of the standard ones..I play from bed, my Co-op buddy play in my living room.. :P Reply ReportShowing 1-20 of 24 comments
