Here we recorded the minimum, average, and maximum frame-rates achieved over a five minute run of Rift.
System specifications consist of:
Intel i7 3770KAsus Maximus V FormulaG. Skill Sniper 16GB DDR3-1866Two Gigabyte Windforce Radeon HD 7950s for crossfireCorsair H100i all-in-one liquid coolerXFX Pro Black Edition 860 watt powerTwo OCZ Vector 128GB SSDs for RAID 0Two Seagate Barracuda 3. 0TB mechanical hard disks1 .0 TB Western Digital Green mechanical hard disk driveNZXT Switch 810 chassisWe achieved a minimum of 43 FPS, a Maximum of 96 FPS, and an average of 72.5 FPS. Rift is very CPU intensive and does require a lot of processor power to get good results. Our testing is done with all in game settings set to their maximum available levels at 1920 X 1080 resolution. The game sure does look gorgeous in our opinion, taking the crown in visual appeal from all of the MMOG’s (massively multiplayer online games) we have played over the years.
