Regular edition In Saints Row IV's newly revealed box art, these gang colors don't run. The open-world game casts players as the President of the United States and its packaging reflects its executive office. By "reflects its executive office" we mean blows up the Oval Office and half of Washington D.C.
We can see Shaundi and Kinzie behind the Boss in Chief, and a mutant Saints Flow mascot exacting its revenge on the Washington Monument in the normal box art above.
Commander in Chief edition
And in the pre-order-only Commander in Chief edition we can see (through the Presidential Aviators) the same Mascot giving Capitol Hill what-for, and one of the game's alien invaders blasting away in our general direction.
Saints Row IV will hit on August 20 in the U.S. and August 23 in the U.K, for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Keep going with these great galleries

I'll be honest, gameplay wise (I spite myself for saying this) looks pretty fun. Although I wish they wouldn't slap the Saint's Row title onto this, SR now isn't as grounded as SR1/2. SR2 had the perfect blend of wacky and silly (Carlos' death/2 friends on a bike exploiting a glitch to ride up walls) which made it work perfect. Saint's Row 3 was fun for the first play-through (I did a 100%) but after that I couldn't find interest in the game anymore. Steel Port is so dull compared to Steel Port, but oh well. I might just be complaining because I still wanted a squeal that stars Dex as the antagonist and now come cancelled arcade game. But I will give this game props for having Ben King in it, he's definitely one of my favorite characters in the series. I know it's not that big of a surprise, but should still tag that as a spoiler for people that hasn't played the second game yet.Anyways, everything you said I entirely agree, it's spot on, if you meant that Steelport is dull compared to Stillwater. I can recall playing SR2 over and over after completion, and the online was pretty fun too. I don't really remember hopping back on the third after 100%'ing it, and to be honest, I didn't even bother to try the 4 player coop thing. Reply Report

Yea I meant Stillport was duller than Stillwater, my bad. I still play SR2 to this day after beating it multiple times, and what do you mean 4 player co-op?The whored mode? Isn't that only 2 players? Reply Report

You're right, I mixed it up with the playable characters for the mode! Reply ReportShowing 1-5 of 5 comments
